The Flingereners recorded the heavy away win over FC Kaiserslautern at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion on Tuesday evening. The 24-year-old Ghanaian winger registered his name on the score sheet on the 9th minute of the game before providing an assist for Mathias Zimmerman to score their third. Ampomah has netted two goals with an assist in his twelve (12) games for Fortuna Düsseldorf in his debut season. Ampomah joined Fortuna Dusseldorf from Waasland-Beveren in Belgium and was nearly grabbed by Fenerbahce this Januray but for the intervention of new manager Uwe Rosler who insisted he needed the Ghanaian.
