Sports CS Ababu Namwamba has said the Kenya Premier League will from next season be broadcast live on television. Speaking during an interview with a national broadcaster on Thursday, Namwamba said plans are at an advanced stage. “We will have a broadcast partner for the Kenyan league before the start of next season. Last weekend, Tanzania's Azam TV aired two FKFPL matches; Kariobangi Sharks against Tusker FC and the Mashemeji Derby. Namwamba said plans are underway to amend the Sports Act and criminalise match fixing and doping-vices that have soiled Kenya's reputation globally.
