A 29-year-old Mexican man charged over a multimillion-dollar cocaine bust has received name suppression for a week. Police and Customs revealed the haul of high-grade cocaine after a six-week covert investigation, which used various surveillance techniques, came to a head on Friday. Duty solicitor Steve Hembrow asked for the man to have name suppression for one week so he could notify his family of his arrest. The man appeared in court on charges of importing and possession of cocaine, after a diamante encrusted horse's head was found in a property in Auckland.
