Nakuru legal officers urge Boinnet to resign

Operations at the Nakuru law courts came to a standstill yesterday, as lawyers protested against the death of human rights attorney Willie Kimani. Led by Law Society of Kenya branch chairman Frank Mwangi, they condemned the killing of Kimani, his client Josephat Mwenda and taxi driver Joseph Muiruri . They called for the immediate resignation of Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet for failing to protect Kenyans. Their bodies were found in a river in Ol Donyo Sabuk, Machakos county, last Thursday.
