Nakumatt is slowly moving towards collapse with no solution in sight. With a Sh18 billion debt owed to suppliers, banks, workers and KRA, the government cannot afford to sit and watch. And the way forward is first to place Nakumatt under statutory management. It is not as if Nakumatt is beyond salvage. In addition, all those who looted Uchumi and Nakumatt should be prosecuted.
