As heavy rains continue to pound Nairobi, Nakumatt Ukay has become the latest victim of the havoc caused by the ensuing floods. “This is a lesson to the management of Nakumatt Ukay and others who have built their properties on rivers, ‘The River Never Forgets’,” another tweet said. “Westgate and Nakumatt Ukay should tell us where they hid the river. Starting with Nakumatt Ukay,” one tweet read as quoted by the Star. The mega store is facing losses after goods were washed from the shelves following a heavy downpour on Saturday, May 7.
