A west Clare man fled naked across the seaside resort of Kilkee to his granny’s house after being found in bed with another man’s fiance. Mr McInerney said Mr McGreene “was confronted with a large element of provocation”. He said: “Mr Bracken then proceeded to flee the bedroom down the stairs where Mr McGreene tried to punch him while he tried to flee. Mr McInerney stated that Mr Bracken is a man “of a fairly robust constitution, he wouldn’t be a shrinking violet”.
