KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is confident that by next year, a new category of certified locations called the Malaysia Digital Hubs will be established for the start-up community in the digital economy. Delivering the keynote address during the opening of the Huawei Innovation Hub and Malaysia-China Digital Economy Forum, he said the endeavour would be made possible through multiple collaborations. "Together through MDEC (Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation) and private sector collaborations, one of the key achievements for 2017 that I look forward to seeing is the establishment of a new category of certified locations called the Malaysia Digital Hubs for the start-up community. He added that Malaysia Digital Hubs would offer unique value propositions such as ubiquitous hyper-speed broadband, hot-desking, mentoring and coaching services. Located at Integra Tower, The Intermark, here, CSIC was designed as an ICT innovation hub and centre of excellence to drive the industry open ecosystem and accelerate digital economy transformation in Malaysia.
