Bosire was among five females nominated by Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in January to fill up vacant positions in his cabinet. On her side, Dr. Bosire said that there were some factors that needed to be addressed before she could take up the nomination offer. Upon her nomination, Bosire was working as the Medical Superintendent at Kiambu Hospital. Governor Mike Sonko however said that he will nominate someone else to fill the vacancy. Lands Executive Charles Kerich has been in acting capacity in the docket since September when Sonko suspended Vesca Kagongo who was also in acting capacity in the docket.
