The driver seemed unperturbed by the risk he posed on oncoming motorists who were forced to swerve to other lanes to make way for him. The speeding driver was the lone passenger in the 14-seater matatu registered under Runa Sacco during the incident. The one-minute video was recorded by a fellow motorist and has been shared widely on social media. Irked netizens accused the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) for the rise of rogue motorists in the city.
