Nairobi county clinical officers have threatened to go on strike from Thursday, February 28. The health workers led by their union's Nairobi branch secretary Tom Nyakaba are also demanding employment of more workers to meet the required 1:1,000 ratio. Currently, the county has only 300 clinical officers out of which only 150 are offering health services. "We want that all clinical officers be given a comprehensive NHIF cover.
