The new Nairobi Regional Criminal Investigations Officer (RCIO) is Paul Wachira who moved from Rift Valley. The new director of the Investigations Bureau (IB) is the outgoing head of Anti Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) John Gachomo. Mombasa head of ATPU Martin Otieno replaced Gachomo at the headquarters. At the Banking Fraud Investigations Unit (BFIU) the new head will be Carrey Nyawinda. Nyawinda replaced Abdallah Komesha who was moved to DCI headquarters and named the deputy to Gachomo at the IB.
