A fake election sign promising not a lot is causing a stir amongst Tauranga voters. The sign features a man, Mark Sheaff, sleeping on a couch and a slogan, "I'll do my best but I can't promise anything". Support for the faux candidate comes at a time when voter turnout in the Tauranga election is at 6.48 per cent, two-thirds of what it was this time last election. Most honest sign I've ever seen." Sheaff has been contacted for comment on his election sign but has not yet responded.
