A New Zealander is among four people found dead after an avalanche in the Italian Alps. Media are reporting that a 39-year-old New Zealand woman who lived in London was killed in the avalanche, near the Italian resort of Courmayeur, along with three other skiers: a 43-year-old Swiss who lived in London and a 36-year-old Frenchman and a 38-year old Polish man who both lived in France. They were reported missing on Sunday afternoon, and searchers found all four bodies on Monday after a lengthy search. Friends had raised the alarm when the group failed to turn up at an agreed meeting point.
