Steve HaszardThe NZ Transport Agency has revoked the transport services licences (TSLs) of two southern freight operators. Both have now had their goods service licences revoked - a licence that allowed them to deliver or carry goods in a vehicle 6000kg or more - and cannot hire a vehicle to carry goods for company use. Leading the review for NZTA is Meredith Connell managing partner Steve Haszard. McDowall Rural Services had its TSL revoked on January 15 due to "a long history of non-compliance". The wider compliance review has investigated warrant of fitness and certificate of fitness providers, transport service licences, heavy vehicle driver licensing, course providers and heavy vehicle certification.
