Wanaka snowboarder Zoi Sadowski Synnott, 16, has written her name on New Zealand's snowsports wall of fame with a Snowboard World Cup final win on Saturday. She is the third Kiwi to do so and follows in the footsteps of Olympian snowboarders Juliane Bray, of Wanaka, who won a World Cup in 2001 and Kaukapakapa's Christy Prior, who won a World Cup in 2014. She earned a silver at the FIS Snowboard World Championships in Spain this month, claimed a World Cup bronze in Snowboard Big Air in Canada in February and competes at the junior world snowboard championships next week. It was a great week here, and I'm really looking forward to next week´s junior world championships," Sadowski Synnott said.
