New Zealand shares fell in light trading, with Ebos Group, Tower and A2 Milk leading the index lower. The S&P/NZX 50 Index fell 31.88 points, or 0.4 percent, to 7,264.86. Meridian Energy fell 2.1 percent to $2.79. Vector was the best performer, up 3.4 percent to $3.35, while Z Energy rose 1.6 percent to $8.30. Outside the main index, Energy Mad fell 7.4 percent to 5 cents.
