ANDREW CORNAGA/PHOTOSPORT NZ Rugby boss Mark Robinson will be mindful of the need to work closely with Super Rugby clubs before the competition format is revamped next year. NZ Rugby chairman Brent Impey will be required to keep a watching brief on how Super Rugby clubs reaction to a change in competition format. NZ Rugby, the 26 provincial unions and five Super Rugby clubs are currently working together in a joint project to review rugby in New Zealand. The goal, said NZ Rugby this month, is to set the game up for "sustained success over the next decade". The latter will return to the All Blacks after Super Rugby, but Retallick will spend several seasons in Asia before returning ahead of the 2023 World Cup.
