Police and Customs say they've busted a drug smuggling ring in Canterbury, with alleged links to the Colombian Medellin Cartel that was founded by Pablo Escobar. About 50kg of cocaine had been seized either in New Zealand or at overseas ports, police said ad six Colombian nationals and one Argentinian were arrested.
