Peter Dada, AkureThe Ondo State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, Mrs Grace Akpabio on Friday disclosed that no fewer than 1,313 corps members had completed the one-year mandatory service to their fatherland in the state. The coordinator, however, said 18 of the number were sanctioned for disobeying the rules and regulations of the corps. She stated this in her farewell address to the 2018 Batch ‘C’ (Stream 2) corps members who were discharged from the national service. In her message sent through the assistant directors in all the local government areas of the state, Akpabio said out of the corps members that received a certificate of national service, three got state honours award and 15 collected state coordinator’s commendation certificates.
