A construction worker shot and killed his supervisor who recently fired him before turning the gun on himself in Manhattan Thursday morning, the New York Police Department said. Police said the 44-year-old worker shot his former foreman in the head at about 7:10 a.m. at a building under construction on Riverside Boulevard. The suspect was fired two days earlier, NYPD Deputy Chief Christopher McCormack said.
