NYCB Annual Luncheon Celebrates Balanchine, Raises $720,000

New York City Ballet (NYCB) held its annual luncheon Thursday at the David Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Sponsored by Max Mara and Munnu Gem Palace, and chaired by Ide Dangoor, Lauren Duff, Barbara Evans, Pauline Reyniak, Danielle Taubman and Melissa Vlak, the event raised more than $720,000 for the company. "Max Mara has always been committed to supporting the arts, and is proud to partner with this iconic New York cultural institution," said Max Mara Global Brand Ambassador Maria Giulia Maramotti. The first one was Marius Petipa's classic, and the second the more expressive and physically demanding Balanchine version. “NYCB is one of the most classic, creative and modern ballet companies in the world," said Dangoor.
