Miami-Dade County Public Schools superintendent Alberto Carvalho stunned City Hall by rejecting the job. His reversal came after he spent the morning listening to a parade of Miami residents begging him to stay during a meeting called by the Miami-Dade County school board chairwoman and streamed live.
