NVIDIA Launches Affordable GeForce Now Cloud Gaming Service


Companies have tried in the past to deliver cloud gaming services and have either failed or been acquired. Therefore, it was no surprise when Nvidia announced it was developing a cloud gaming service a few year ago (originally called NVIDIA GRID in 2013). In addition, Nvidia has waited to roll out its cloud gaming service until it had RTX graphics line that can support ray-traced graphics. GeForce Now Supported Platforms NVIDIAGoogle Stadia Vs. GeForce NowThe most visible streaming game service today is Google’s Stadia which launched in late 2019. The back end of the Stadia cloud service is a custom AMD Radeon GPU with an x86 CPU running a Linux operating system.
