General News of Friday, 24 May 2019Source: NUGSNUGS President appointed Ghana's representative to the Commonwealth Students AssociationTinkaro Asare Osei, NUGS PresidentTinkaro Asare Osei, President of the National Union of Ghana Students has been appointed by the Commonwealth Students Association to be the representative of the Commonwealth Association in Ghana. The Commonwealth Students Association (CSA) unifies and embodies the needs and aspirations of national student councils and other student organisations in the Commonwealth. It plays an instrumental role in the planning of the Commonwealth Students Congress, the largest gathering of students across the Commonwealth. I will be engaging with National Students organisations in Ghana and Students Unions to defend the right of Students through legal means and also to implement the objectives of CSA", Tinkaro Asare Osei, Ghana's representative to the Commonwealth students Association stated. He intends to ensure every university in the country has a competent representative to propagate the idea of the Commonwealth Students' Association and to advocate and promote better living conditions and a quality life.
