MANILA, Philippines – National University’s ambitious build-up of its high school program continues following its impressive 74-70 win over La Salle in the Milcu Sports Basketball Presents Got Skills Elite Showcase last October 28 at the Lyceum gym. Both sides changed leads multiple times, but it was the Bullpups behind Reyland Torres that took the win. Torres finished with 15 points and 4 rebounds in NU’s win. In other 25-Under matches, the Lyceum Pirates turned back the tough high school squad of Chiang Kai Shek College, 69-61. Carl Lumbao led LPU with 16 points and 4 rebounds while CKSC’s John Galinato top scored with 22.
