The Nation Media Group has once again raided the rival Standard Media Group for talent, poaching two seasoned journalists to join the NTV newsroom. Reports by insiders revealed that NTV poached Nicholas Wambua, a news reporter and Janet Chapia an editor from KTN News. Prior to joining NTV, Wambua served as a news anchor and a crime and investigative journalist at KTN News. In March, Nation Media Group appointed Joe Ageyo as the Editorial Director in charge of the broadcast wing. Ageyo was tasked with participating in the development and execution of the NMG's editorial strategy as well as heading the editorial functions of NMG's broadcast operations across multimedia platforms.
