Two cops arrested after the controversial escape of a Ugandan murder suspectTwo officers at Kiamaciri Police Station have been arrested over the controversial escape of a Ugandan murder suspect from their custody. The officers were seized after the suspect, who was in custody over the gruesome murder of his employer, escaped mysteriously on Friday last week. The officers could face a charge of aiding suspected criminals to escape from lawful custody. Mr Mworia described the Ugandan as a dangerous criminal: “This man can easily kill again and we are looking for him. We want him back in the cells earliest possible.”The suspect was arrested nearly seven months on the run and presented at the High Court in Kerugoya.
