Ruto praises Kindiki: ‘He subdued terrorists and bandits’President William Ruto on Thursday lauded his nominee for Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary, Kithure Kindiki, highlighting his impressive performance during his previous tenure at the ministry. Speaking at a roadside address in Tharaka Nithi County, where he was commissioning the Kibung’a Kakimiki Water Project in Marimanti, President Ruto emphasised that Kindiki is the right man for the job. “This man has done a great job. In Lamu, the terrorists are stuck; in North Rift, the bandits have vacated… Should he be allowed to continue with his work?” President Ruto asked the locals. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua echoed President Ruto’s sentiments and thanked the people of Tharaka Nithi for their support during the elections.
