KDF takes over facelift of 4 stadia for Africa Cup of Nation bidSports Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ababu Namwamba will hand over four stadiums to the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) for upgrading to international standards as the country joins its East African neighbours in the Pamoja Bid to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon). The stadiums to be handed over for upgrading are Nyayo, Kasarani, Kipchoge Keino and Talanta Sports City at Jamhuri grounds. Talanta Sports Stadium was handed over at 9:00am, Nyayo Stadium will be handed over at 10:30am, Kasarani Stadium at 11:30am and Kipchoge Keino Stadium at 2:00pm.
