Speaking at a church fundraiser in Mwingi, Kitui County, Uhuru urged President William Ruto’s administration to focus on service delivery and stop using him as a scapegoat when they fail to fulfil their campaign promises. The former head of state has been on the receiving end of criticism from Kenya Kwanza leaders in government who have been quick to blame the previous regime. The former president and his allies want President William Ruto to address the high cost of living. But Kenya Kwanza allied leaders have rejected Uhuru’s remarks that the government is not doing enough to reduce the cost of living.
