On Friday and Saturday, women and women’s rights activists participated in a nationwide protest over the persistent attacks against women in the country. Two weeks ago, news of Rita Waeni Muendo and Scarlet Wahu’s murders highlighted the ongoing wave of gender-based violence in Kenya.
