NTV journalist Ibrahim Karanja confronted a police officer captured on live TV while beating up protesters. The incident occurred around 12:40 pm on Thursday, June 20, as the journalist covered the protests outside Nation Center along Kimathi Street in Nairobi. Shortly after, he announced that one of the police officers was beating up a protester before rushing towards the direction. Facebook Ibrahim Karanja"There is a police beating up (a protester)... Why are you beating people? He is beating up protesters," he said while chasing after the officer.
