The accused are bus driver Jamal Hossain, his assistant Foysal Hossain, and supervisor Jony. On July 22, last year, Payel, a 5th semester NSU student of Halishahar in the port city of Chittagong, was found dead in a canal at Bhaber Char area in Munshiganj’s Gazaria upazila. According to police, the bus got stuck in a traffic jam in Munshiganj’s Gazaria around 4am on July 22.
