NSA Ajit Doval and Nepal's new Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda discussed several issues between the two neighbours in New Delhi today. For the first time, Nepal tried to bolster bilateral ties with India during Prachanda's period than in the time of former Nepalese prime minister KP Oli. As Oli leaned towards China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval had come in for criticism. Now, today's Meeting between NSA Ajit Doval and Nepalese PM Prachanda will surely come as boost to India foreign policy which has consistently advocated more moderate and inclusive policies in Nepal.
