He received the award from the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr A K Abdul Momen at a ceremony held at BICC of Dhaka on Saturday. Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmad presided over the meeting. Rahman has clinched the title of the Highest Remittance Sender among the remitters through the proper channels for the year 2019 in the NRB Category. He achieved the CIP status for consecutive 8 years. Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Anisul Islam Mahmud was also present on this occasion.
