NPSC to vet 375 traffic police officers in Western, Nyanza


The National Police Service Commission said out of the 375, 201 will be from Nyanza region and the remaining will come from Western Kenya region. A total of 375 police officers serving as the traffic department are set to be vetted in Kisumu. The NPSC chair said already 238 traffic police officers in Coast region have been vetted. “The law requires that all the police officers be vetted hence we are operating within the confines of the law when vetting these police officers,” he added. “During the vetting exercise we look at various issues ranging from financial probity, integrity of the officers and observance of human rights,” Kavuludi said.
