NPSC sacks over 300 traffic police officers for rejecting vetting call


The National Police Service Commission has sacked 302 police officers serving at the traffic department. He said the said police officers removed are no longer members of the Kenya Police Service. NPSC Chairman Johnstone Kavuludi said the officer were sacked after refusing to be vetted by the commission. He said the law requires that all the police officers be vetted so as to determine their suitability to continue serve in the National Police Service. Kavuludi said the officer removed so far will be expected to hand over any item in their possession including firearms.
