Dzifa Gunu, in a post shared on Facebook on February 5, 2026, indicated that Nkansah was picked up and is now in the custody of the NIB. “Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has been picked up by the NIB to substantiate his allegations of the sale of foreign scholarships. GhanaWeb earlier reported that Nkansah had been invited by the NIB over the comments he made. “I don’t know the exact amount the scholarships are sold for, but some cost up to GH¢100,000.
