Dr Assibey-Yeboah, who is also Chairman of Parliament’s Finance Committee of Parliament, is competing with Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board, Michael Okyere Baafi, a contest that many have tipped to be keen. The petition is dated June 12, 2020, and has been copied to the National Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay, the party’s National Election Committee (NEC), all members of NEC and the Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu.
