General News of Friday, 2 September 2016Source: adomonline.comNPP MPs to investigate Speaker’s conductMinority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-BonsuThe Minority in Parliament has accused the Speaker, Edward Doe Adjaho of predetermining the outcome of a motion filed by the Minority calling for a probe into the controversial Ford gift saga against President Mahama. Edward Doe Adjaho was prepared even before the House sat to deliberate on the matter. He said though the Speaker has shot down the motion, they will go ahead to investigate him (Doe Adjaho) since his conduct was fully a “partisan ruling”. "As a Speaker I am firmly convinced CHRAJ is the only mandated body to probe this case". However, the Minority leader indicated that they will go ahead and establish a committee to investigate President John Mahama.
