Lauren Carlyle took over the reins as the new General Mananger at Tears NPO on Friday 1 February. Tears Animal Rescue is a non-profit, pro-quality of life organisation whose core aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats. They also provide subsidised veterinary support and care and free sterilisations to pets in low-income communities of the Southern Peninsula. Looking to her journey ahead with the organisation, Carlyle says Tears has a great deal of potential. Animals are her passion and she wants to use her experience to help Tears grow to even greater heights.
