The agreement which was signed on Jan 28, 2020 forms part of NPA’s bid to ensure petroleum products consumed by the public are of the highest quality. The Chief Executive Officer of NPA Hassan Tampuli and Deputy Minister of Energy Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, signed on behalf of the Authority. Over the period, the NPA boss, Hassan Tampuli has raised concerns about the need to improve the petroleum quality and distribution systems which is critical to the operations of the downstream sector. The cooperation between the two parties means an opportunity to share technical expertise, improve ongoing fuel marking and testing systems.
