The loss of Beresheet should also not distract from the fact that last week was a remarkable one in mankind’s exploration of the cosmos. Meanwhile, in Florida, SpaceX, the private space flight company owned by Elon Musk, also pulled off a remarkable feat. These disparate stories, all within a few days of each other, speak to massive advancements in human space exploration capabilities. This is an incredible story — a series of victories are collectively carrying us forward into a new era of exploration and discovery.
