The National Investigation Agency has filed a chargesheet against controversial preacher Zakir Naik for allegedly inciting youngsters for terror activities and giving hate speeches. The NIA chargesheet includes 85 statements made under Section 161 in the Code Of Criminal Procedure (CrPC)--witness statements taken by NIA sleuths. Zakir Naik has been also been booked under Section 10 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for being a member of an unlawful association. Zakir Naik's passport was revoked by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) at the request of the NIA earlier this year.
