NHRC Chairman Kazi Reazul Haque remarked this while inspecting the fire damage at Nanda Kumar Lane, in Chawkbazar’s Churihatta area of Old Dhaka, around 12:30pm. He said: "The Rana Plaza building collapse is the largest disaster that we have faced till now. "Today, the Chawkbazar fire incident has claimed the lives of more than 70 people till now. Till now, at least 70 people have been killed in a massive fire that engulfed several multi-storey buildings at Nanda Kumar Lane in Chawkbazar’s Churihatta area of Old Dhaka on Wednesday at night.
