If Nazem Kadri plays again in the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs, it will mean the Maple Leafs have advanced to the second round. Kadri has been suspended for the remainder of the first round against the Boston Bruins, the NHL announced on Monday. The best-of-seven series was tied 1-1 heading in Game 3 on Monday night, meaning Kadri would sit five games at the most, three at the least. Kadri was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct after feeding DeBrusk his stick. And perhaps Kadri wouldn’t have been as incensed with DeBrusk had the Bruin been penalized for an earlier knee-on-knee collision with Kadri.
