Unless you're a hardcore hockey fan and gamer, it's easy to see how NHL 18 might get lost in the September Shuffle. It's more impressive when you consider the number of options NHL 18 has and how that has been comfortably fit into a primary and secondary menu. You can play as the Vegas Golden Knights and/or create your own NHL franchise from scratch. There Aren't Enough Stat Overlays Or References During Franchise ModeStat references keep the user immersed in the franchise mode concept. NHL 18 doesn't offer enough of those in the form of overlays or as audio references.
