IDBI Mutual Fund has launched IDBI Prudence Fund , an open-ended equity-oriented hybrid fund . Balasubramanian will manage the equity part of the portfolio of IDBI Prudence Fund. Investors have been flocking to balanced schemes in a big way in the last two years. IDBI Mutual Fund is trying to cash in on the opportunity. This makes equity-oriented balanced schemes relatively less volatile than pure equity schemes that invest the entire corpus in stocks.
