Just minutes after reportedly losing linebacker Alex Anzalone in free agency, the Detroit Lions’ defense is taking another hit. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Lions cornerback Amik Robertson is signing with the Washington Commanders. His deal is reportedly worth $16 million over two seasons, with $9.3 million guaranteed. The Lions originally signed Robertson to a two-year, $9.25 million deal in 2024 as a free agency add from the Raiders. Robertson proved to be a nice, versatile piece of Detroit, playing at both nickel and outside cornerback.
